Phenolic Spacer

Have you ever noticed how much quicker your Miata feels when it is 60 degrees out as opposed to 90 degrees?  Well, we have too and that is the main reason for the development of our Phenolic Intake Manifold Gasket Spacer.  If intake temps drop by just a few degrees, a huge impact on the power, ping resistance and overall reliability of supercharged cars can be gained. 

It's pretty amazing what can be accomplished with such a simple and inexpensive modification. During development, many materials were tested to achieve the best real world results possible.   Test reports have shown that when coupled with an intercooler, intake temperatures entering the combustion chamber were up to 44  degrees F cooler than the exact same intercooled setup without the spacer.  Now, in all fairness, average temps won't be that much cooler, but you can expect a minimum of 5-10  degrees F cooler intake temps and usually much more.  This translates directly into to more HP and less ping from you supercharged application.  Works great on normally aspirated and turbocharged cars too!

Spacer is 3mm thick.
